On the 21st and 22nd of April, 2016 a two-day Steering Committee Meeting was hosted by the Institute of Legal Information Theory and Techniques at the National Research Council, Italy.
‘Privacy in the Digital Age of Encryption and Anonymity Online’ Conference is to be held on 19-20 May 2016 in The Hague (NL) and will bring together stakeholders from various backgrounds, including law enforcement agencies, as well as representatives of the legislator, justice, private parties, academia, NGOs and any other experts willing to share their perspective in order to contribute to effectively striking the right balance between freedom and security.
The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight.
